SHAUN MYERS IS A CREATIVE ARTIST BASED IN YORKSHIRE IN THE UK.

My name is Shaun, a traditional Artist originally from Sheffield, now based in the quiet countryside near Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

Although I started painting early, my actual career path led me to Graphic Design and Illustration. In the early 1980s, I studied at College and University, and I started my professional career in Camden Town, London, working as a Junior designer, Artist, and visualiser in a busy studio, learning from the very best in the city. I moved back to Yorkshire in the late 1990s.

Painting began as a hobby until one Saturday, a gallery owner named ALan Stuttle in York saw my work and asked if it was for sale. Within six months, I had sold dozens of paintings.

My paintings often feature well-known coastal towns in North Yorkshire, including Whitby and Staithes, as well as York and many other towns and villages. I also paint famous international locations like New York, London, and Venice.
